The Suffolk Coastal District Council as well as the Recycling Partnership begin with the

The County developed with the richly diverse residence who built on a dream and the story continues with the
commitment to be the best.
In just the last few years, the Suffolk County Council has updated its priorities to continue the betterment of
the county and drive them through uncertain times such as these.
The key points of the Suffolk Story include: a strong dynamic job market, transforming the
learning and the skills in Suffolk, protecting vulnerable people as well as reducing inequalities, to deliver great
services with exceptional value, and to be the greenest county in the UK.
The English average of recycling is about 37.6 percent of household waste being

Recycling as well as minimizing waste has a large financial savings for the county and the resident, but also a
major benefit to the environment.
Landfill sites are filling up quickly and the effort to compost, reduce waste and recycle have a direct benefit
to the land and the people; the Suffolk recycling partnership leads the people in their heroic efforts.
With 18 household waste recycling center sites around Suffolk County, including: Felixstowe, Foxhall, Leiston,
Beccles, Hadleigh and Ipswich to name a few, it is easy to recycle in Suffolk.
The vision of the Suffolk Coastal District Council is: 'building on the best of the present, it should be a
district where people want to live and to invest, to care for others and the environment'. The people and the coast
of Suffolk is the focus of the district with the goal to ensure the enjoyment and quality of residents, students
and visitors.
Help the district, the environment and each other by joining the efforts of the council and partnerships in
